A talented 11-year-old took the stage to perform an Elvis classic, impressively mirroring the King’s own sound
I don’t remember many artists performing renditions in the past. Singers would release singles and albums, but there was rarely an opportunity for another performer to interpret an original song with their own unique twist.
I can’t say that I dislike the concept of redoing a beloved song. There’s something special about a well-crafted remake, and they are becoming increasingly popular.
Renditions are always emotionally impactful. Contemporary musicians often draw inspiration from the past to recreate classic songs, refreshing everyone’s memory, allowing us to revisit a melody, and paying tribute to the great singer who originally performed the song. Artists today frequently create renditions, yet they remain special because their versions incorporate unique elements compared to the originals.
Of course, everyone gets excited when a famous singer performs something old-school, but I believe there’s more to a rendition when someone less well-known sings it and it goes viral, especially when that someone is an 11-year-old child.
Angelina Jordan is a pre-teen with a clear passion for music. She is from Norway, where she first participated in a singing competition at eight years old. Since then, the young girl has become a singing sensation in her country and has millions of fans across her various social media platforms. It’s easy to see why. Her voice is unlike anything I’ve ever heard, and once you listen to her song, you’ll feel the same way.
In the video below, Angelina performs one of Elvis Presley’s songs called, “It’s Now Or Forever.” Just when you might think she can’t do justice to a deep, baritone-like voice like Elvis’s, she proves you wrong. Everyone is amazed after hearing her perform. How can she possibly mimic his voice with such ease and precision? Angelina’s voice is truly talented and a must-watch. I guarantee you’ll want to watch this more than once, that’s for sure!
